Financial Services Demand Side Survey 2025
This Report summarises the findings of the third Financial Services Demand Side Survey in Fiji. The Survey, undertaken across the Central, Northern, Western and Eastern Divisions, is a needs assessment study of financial products and services, including digital and green products. The aim is to assess the progress made in the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) 2022-2030 in comparison with the results from the two previously undertaken Demand Side Surveys.. This assessment will also inform the upcoming mid-term review of the NFIS. The research design, data collection approach, and analysis plan for reporting were finalised in consultation with the Reserve Bank of Fiji (henceforth, RBF) and Tebbutt Research. Funding support for the survey was provided by the Asian Development Bank.

Since 2010, Fiji has made significant strides in building a more inclusive financialsystem, supported by successive National Financial Inclusion Strategies, strong stakeholder collaboration, innovation in digital financial services and a shared commitment to ensuring that financial services reach those who need them most.
Financial Services Demand Side Survey 2020
This Report summarises the findings of the second Financial Services Demand Side Survey in Fiji. The Survey, undertaken across the Central, Northern, Western and Eastern Divisions, is a needs assessment study of financial products and services, including digital and green products. The aim is to monitor the progress made in the National Financial Inclusion Strategic Plan 2016-2020 and chart the way forward for the forthcoming financial inclusion strategy.
The research design, data collection approach, and analysis plan for reporting were finalised in consultation with the UNCDF. The survey was jointly supported by AFI and UNCDF.
Demand-side Financial Services Data
The Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) is committed to the financial inclusion of all Fijians, especially the most vulnerable members in our society. In driving the national financial inclusion agenda, the RBF recognises the importance of obtaining relevant data to not only measure progress but also identify critical areas to direct our efforts. To complement the supply-side data provided by financial service providers, the RBF undertakes a survey which engages the end-users of financial services in a bid to understand the challenges faced in access and use.
Financial Services Demand Side Survey 2014
This Report summarises the findings of the first Financial Services Demand Side Survey in Fiji. This Report provides important data that contributed to baseline data that the National Financial Inclusion Taskforce and stakeholders used to formulate the Financial Inclusion Strategic Plan for Fiji (2016 -2020).
The report was compiled with the contributions of the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) Pacific Financial Inclusion Program (PFIP), the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, the National Financial Inclusion Taskforce and the Statistics Working Group.
